FAQ
1. Where did you get the name “Running out of Heroes From?”
I’m running out of heroes is a phrase I heard on a movie, and fell in love with it. There are millions of people in this world, yet I cannot find one person who is worth being called a “hero,” but I still yet have hope. Why? Because no matter what anyone says, there are heroes in the world. The person who wrote, ”You may say I’m a dreamer, but I am not the only one,” is a hero to me. The person who wrote, “I will follow you into the dark,” is a hero to me. The person who wrote “So scared of getting older, I am only good at being young,” Is a hero to me.
Running out of heroes is a desperate plea to hold onto the beauty of this world, and praising those who manage to capture the beauty somehow.
2. Did you write that poem?
Yes…. All of the poems you see here are original. :)
3. When did you start writing? Have you ever been published?
I have written my entire life! Ever since I first knew how to write; I was writing poetry, stories, songs and so forth. I have been published in a few small magazines, and online publications.
4. Do you take requests?
SURE! Just send me a message with what you want, and I’d LOVE to make one specifically for you! BUT PLEASE send me a specific lyric with the name and the artist. I prefer knowing exactly what lyric you want, instead of me searching through the song trying to find one you may like. :)
5. Why do you focus on famous quotes, song lyrics and your own poetry as oppose to just focusing on one subject?
I would say that I focus on song lyrics more than anything else. The majority of what I post are song lyrics, yet I LOVE writing poetry, and I love quotes. So, I thought I would add a little bit of that in as well. :)
6. Do you promote?
Yes, I do. Just send me a message, and let me know! I only promote once a week, so I may not do it as quickly or punctual as you like, but I will do it. :)
7. Where do you get your pictures?
Every post has a link with where I got the picture, if the post does not have a link, then I got the picture from my photography blog which is, somethingwittyaboutphotos.tumblr.com
